Changes in Myanmar (Internet and Music)

Okay. Every country has to improve at one point of time, isn't? And so has Myanmar. The Internet system has improved. Twitter, Blogger and MSN, which were once banned, are now accessible in Singapore. I think it is due to privatisation of service providers that unblocked them actually. And of course, due to the newly formed 'democratic' system. Well, why should I care anyway? I'm not really into politics.
It appears that there are finally some music stores in Myanmar (guitar stores to be exact). If you are talking about variety, then these stores will disappoint you. The only few brands I can find are Ibanez, considerable number of Squiers (but not Fender) and a handful of Hamer, definitely not enough to satisfy any guitar freaks (like myself). Well, something is better than nothing.
I am not sure how many shops are there in the whole of Myanmar. But if you happened to visit Yangon and if you urgently need to something some guitar strings are whatsoever, you might want to visit TAW WIN CENTRE. There are 2 (and only those 2) shops on L3.
